FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS
As memory speeds continue to increase, Molex continues to enable the market with quality connectors. Now we are supporting DDR technology which is the next step in DIMM technology. Our DDR DIMM connectors share our standard DIMM platform which includes contacts, latches, and a combination of plastic pegs and forklock for securing the connector during the manufacturing process. Our terminals have the longest contact wipe in the industry and our latches incorporate an alignment feature to aid module insertion, a dampening feature to resist vibration, and a latch detent which indicates that the latches have secured the module in place.
